Maidenhead Festival July 2018

Maidenhead Festival is the biggest, regularly organised, free, public event in Maidenhead. As an event run by the community, for the community, it not only brings people of all ages together for two days of festivities, but builds a lot of community spirit and goodwill. It also helps to strengthen the charities and other organisations which take part by providing a platform for publicity, fundraising and recruitment.  In 2017, around 8,000 people enjoyed Maidenhead Festival, joining the crowds at the concert and fireworks, browsing the stalls or by taking part themselves.

The event, supported in 2018 by a grant from The Prince Philip Trust Fund, takes places on 21-22 July in Kidswell and will feature live music, a beach, fairground stalls and side shows.

Lisa Hunter, Chairman of the Maidenhead Festival said “We are very much indebted to the very generous support the Prince Philip Trust Fund are giving to this year’s Festival, without them we simply wouldn’t be able to bring this wonderful event back to Maidenhead.  We honestly cannot thank them enough.”
