Ascot race day
On 2nd May 2018, Ascot Racecourse set the backdrop to a fundraising event organised by The Prince Philip Trust Fund and the Rotary Club of Windsor and Eton.
Guests were treated to a champagne reception, lunch and afternoon tea, live entertainment, and auction and an exciting afternoon of racing at the famous Ascot Racecourse, in the company of HRH The Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex and Chair of the Board of Trustees for The Prince Philip Trust Fund.
At the November 2018 Board of Trustees meeting held in Windsor, HRH The Prince Edward was presented with a cheque for £41,000 by Richard Kidson and Richard Carleton from the Rotary Club of Windsor and Eton, profits generated from the event.
Richard Carleton, President of the Rotary Club of Windsor and Eton said; “As Rotarians who live and work in the Royal Borough, raising funds for The Prince Philip Trust Fund is another great way we are able to give back to our local community. Our partnership goes from strength to strength and we look forward to working together on future events.”
